Schedule: February 26th and 27th. There will be 4 preliminary rounds on Saturday and 1 on Sunday morning. After the final preliminary round, we will have breaks and elimination rounds on Sunday afternoon.
Format: Modified British Parliamentary: 5-minute speeches, 15-minutes prep time for each round. Tournament will be held online .
Eligibility: Teams must be composed of two students from the same school. Any composite teams may compete only at the discretion of the organisers if there are spare places in the tournament, and will not be eligible to break.
Open and Junior Breaks: There will be both Open and Junior breaks. Teams whose members are both aged 15 or under on the first day of the tournament will be eligible for the Junior Break, but are also eligible for the Open Break if they finish high enough on the tab. Teams may not choose between breaks but simply break into the ‘higher’ category for which they qualify.
Qualification places at the Cambridge tournament in March are available only to teams who break in the Open category.
