2023第七届全球科技创新大会将围绕“创新驱动发展（Innovation for Development）”这一主题，举办“‘凝聚绿色发展共识，助力转型金融实践’发展论坛”、“迈向零碳城市发展论坛”等多场主题论坛，聚焦以传统产业为主要支撑的城市，如何在绿色发展方面创新，在拓展绿色产业的同时，探索绿色转型的路径，配合上金融支持，让技术创新变成产业绿色发展。

The Global Science & Technology Innovation Conference, as an important annual event supported by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization Global Innovation Network  Project (UNIDO GIN Project), centers around building an innovation ecosystem. It is devoted to study, discuss the challenges in the field of global science and technology innovation, and promote international scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation. Since 2017, it has evolved into five major sections, including forums, awards, roadshows, exhibitions and competitions, aiming at knowledge sharing, contribution recognition, technology transfer, achievement display, and capacity building. The Conference intends to expand partnerships globally, jointly promote the realization of inclusive and sustainable industrial development goals, and help to promote the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which has received great attention and active participation from international organizations, government, research institutions, academia, financial sector and business field.

The 7th 2023 Global Science & Technology Innovation Conference with the core idea of "Innovation for Development", will host several forums, including "Building Green Development Consensus, Facilitating the Transition of Financial Practices", and "Towards Zero-Carbon City Development Forum". These discussions focus on how cities with traditional industries as the main support can innovate in green development, explore the path of green transition while expanding green industries, and cooperate with financial support to make technological innovation into industrial green development.
