无动于衷当代艺术中心荣幸呈现当代艺术家荆艺兵广州个展《“三年”展》，展览呈现了对过往三年的感受与思考，本展是无动于衷当代艺术中心首展。

Indifferent Contemporary Art Center (ICAC) is honored to present BEING‘s solo exhibition "Triennial". This exhibition will present the artist's feelings and thoughts about the three years that we recently went through. It is also the first exhibition for ICAC.

过去三年席卷全球的疫情，改变了所有人的生活。

随着疫情消退，人们已经不再讨论它了。一切似乎都结束了，人们又匆匆开始了新的生活，仿佛从未发生过。

The pandemic that has swept the world over the past three years has changed everyone's lives. As the epidemic has subsided, people have stopped talking about it. People start new lives in haste as if nothing happened.

中国有句俗话：“事不过三”。我们刚刚经历过的三年防疫抗疫的生活，似乎新的生活要来了。让我们一起消化过往的三年，创作一种熟悉而又陌生的场景：借以思考，借以告别，借以远行。

As a Chinese saying goes, "Nothing lasts longer than three." We have just experienced three years of anti-epidemic life, it seems that a new life is coming. Let us digest the past three years together and create a familiar and unfamiliar scene: a way to think, a way to farewell, a way to move on.

从墨阁画廊的《变卦》到无动于衷当代艺术中心的《“三年”展》

From MOGE Gallery CHANGES to Indifferent Contemporary Art Center "Triennial"

2022年11月12日，墨阁画廊主理人Ted邀请荆艺兵在广州做一场特别展览；

November 12, 2022, Ted, the owner of MOGE Gallery invited artist BEING to create a special exhibition in Guangzhou MOGE Gallery.

2022年11月23日，荆艺兵筹备展览计划《蠡(lí)测管窥》；

November 23, 2022, BEING was making preparations for the exhibiton of Li Ce Guan Kui.

2022年12月4日，广州解封；

December 4, 2022, Guangzhou had lifted lockdown.

2022年12月9日，荆艺兵迅速改变展览计划为《变卦》；

December 9, 2022, BEING was quickly changed his exhibition plan to CHANGES.

2022年12月26日，墨阁画廊展出《变卦》；

December 26, 2022, Moge Gallery exhibition: CHANGES.

2023年1月13日，我们启动展览计划《“三年”展》；

January 13, 2023, we started the exhibition plan: "Triennial".

2023年5月7日，成立了无动于衷当代艺术中心。
May 7, 2023, we established the Indifferent Contemporary Art Center（ICAC）.

2023年9月28日至今，无动于衷当代艺术中心正在展出《“三年”展》；

《变卦》 CHANGES

2022.12.26 - 2023.01.25

展览背景 Background

2020年的1月23日凌晨2点开始，武汉全市的城市公交、轮渡、长途客运、地铁、火车站暂时关闭，武汉宣布封城；

From 2 am on January 23, 2020, Wuhan's city buses, ferries, long-distance passenger transport, subways, and railway stations were temporarily closed, and Wuhan announced a lockdown.

2022年11月30日广州疫情宣布结束，广州荔湾区、白云区、番禺区、番禺区、天河区解除疫情防控临时管控区，成为了全国第一个实行全面解封的城市，广州打响了全国解封的第一枪；

On November 30, 2022, the epidemic in Guangzhou was declared over, and Liwan District, Baiyun District, Panyu District, Panyu District and Tianhe District of Guangzhou lifted the temporary control zone for epidemic prevention and control, becoming the first city in the country to fully lift the lockdown, and Guangzhou fired the first shot in the country.

2022年12月4日，解除核酸查验，宣布一个时代的结束。

On December 4, 2022, the nucleic acid inspection was suspended, announcing the end of an era.

改变展览方案 Change of Plan

2022年12月9日，随着广州解封，艺术家荆艺兵改变原来的《蠡测管窥*》展览方案，迅速提出了全新的展览计划：《变卦》。

（*注：蠡测管窥， lí cè guǎn kuī。蠡：瓢；管：竹管；窥：从小孔缝隙里观看。用瓢来量大海，从竹管的小孔看天空。比喻见识片面狭窄，看不到事物的整体。——百度百科）

On December 9, 2022, with the end of the lockdown of Guangzhou, BEING quickly shifted his orginal exhibition plan Li Ce Guan Kui*, to a new one: CHANGES.

（*Note: Li Ce Guan Kui means Looking through a slit in a small hole. Measure the sea with a ladle, and look at the sky through a small hole in a bamboo tube. Meaning people can not see the whole thing with a poor perception. -- Baidu Encyclopedia）

展览呈现 Present The Exhibition

广州刚刚解封，展览是由艺术家在杭州用微信交流，画廊方面在广州实施，并于2022年12月26日在广州墨阁画廊呈现展览。（原文链接：「变卦」CHANGES）

As it has just been unsealed, the infections number is rising rapidly. The artist is unable to come to the scene. Therefore, the exhibition is carried out remotely by the artist in Hangzhou, and executed and implemented by the gallery owner Ted in Guangzhou. The exhibition was presented in Guangzhou MOGE Gallery on December 26, 2022.（Link：CHANGES）

在实施展览的过程中，每一块薄薄的草皮，被放置在展厅地面上。它们仿佛是一个个具体的个体与家庭。小草用它那弱小的身躯，彷徨而顽强地活着，然后渐渐泛黄、凋零。

During the implementation of the exhibition, each thin piece of turf was placed on the floor of the exhibition hall. They seem to be the specific individual and family. The grass with its weak body, was wandering and working so hard to live, and then gradually yellowed, withered.

展览空间虽小，艺术家重构出一方天地的缩影，让我们看到了大时代背景下的个体。

Although the exhibition space is small, the artist reconstructed a miniature of heaven and earth, allowing us to see the individuals in the context of the big era.

无字的书页，在空中飘荡；震耳欲聋的呼喊，在记忆中回响。

Pages without words, floating in the air; deafening cries, stirring in the memory.

对抗荒诞 To Resist Absurdity

我们共同经历了一个特殊时代，曾经全国各地轰轰烈烈的防疫抗疫，突然戛然而止，逐渐被人遗忘，仿佛什么都没有发生过。还有什么比这个更荒诞呢？

We have experienced a special era together. There has been a vigorous epidemic prevention and control campaign across the country. But it stopped abruptly, as if nothing had happened, gradually forgotten. What could be more absurd than this?

2023年1月13日，艺术家荆艺兵提出展览计划《“三年”展》；

On January 13, 2023, artist BEING proposed the exhibition plan "Triennial" Exhibition.

《变卦》展览后，我们认为有必要专门成立一家作当代艺术展览的新机构，于是在2023年5月7日，成立了无动于衷当代艺术中心。

After CHANGES, we saw the need to establish a new institution dedicated to contemporary art exhibitions, so we established the Indifferent Contemporary Art Center（ICAC）On May 7, 2023.

2023年9月28日至今，无动于衷当代艺术中心正在展出《“三年”展》；

September 28, 2023-present, Indifferent Contemporary Art Center is presenting: "Triennial".

展览呈现了香港、澳门、广州、武汉、北京、上海、郑州、杭州的对应作品，是对三年进行了一个较为全面的总结和对话。

The exhibition presents the works of Hong Kong, Macao, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Beijing, Shanghai, Zhengzhou and Hangzhou, which is a relatively comprehensive summary and dialogue on the three years.

大棚笼罩着如隔离的空间，依稀看到外面的光芒。

The greenhouses are enveloped in an isolated space, faintly seeing the light outside.

人物仿佛在用很多只手紧握着木棍，而数个木棍又将人物的躯干和四肢牢牢固定，丝毫动弹不得。仿佛看到一种强力的束缚及人物内心的绝望、挣扎和抗争。

The figure seems to be holding the stick with many hands, and several sticks have firmly fixed the figure's arms and legs, and can not move at all. We might see a strong constraint and the figure's inner despair, struggle and resistance.

人与人的联系和信任的纽带，似乎改成了测温枪。

The bond of human connection and trust seems to have been changed to a temperature gun.

熟悉又陌生的画面，恍如隔世，甚至不敢相信是刚刚结束的三年。

Familiar and strange pictures, it seems as if the past life, even can not believe that it is just over the past three years.

灾难过后，曾经的熟悉而繁华的城市仿佛成了一片废墟。人们生活在由钢筋混凝土打造的城市中，又在城市中努力打拼着属于自己的房子。当工作和生活被泥石流般的疫情所摧毁，如何重建昔日的CBD，如何重建心中的憧憬。

After the disaster, the once familiar and bustling city seemed to lie in ruins. People live in a city made of reinforced concrete, and strive for their own houses in the city. When work and lives are destroyed by the epidemic, how to rebuild the cities and how to rebuild our dreams.
