In this super fun and interactive club, we'll create small pieces of theatre together from nothing. In previous devised theatre workshops, we've had themes like "love" or "memories". This time, there will be no theme, let's create something together organically. Just bring an open mind, Chan will be your guide, you will be the artist. No theatre or artistic experience necessary. Just to get ready to have fun!

Have you ever collaborated with strangers to create theatre? Can you tackle the challenge of working without a script? Fancy taking an idea and running with it? Some of the best theatre companies today make devised theatre using a process of creating a performance collaboratively. Chan works with performers and non-performers to devise theatre around central themes using a combination of physical drama games and exploration, creative mind mapping, playing with props and people to create scenes, critical analysis, and reflection. Let's do that together! Collaborators are always surprised by the work they create together so let's make something awesome and have fun doing it.

Together, let's explore our creative potential and let's devise brief moments of theatre. Let's have fun, let's let the ideas flow, and let's make theatre together!
