China is facing serious aging issue. The current physical aging community and nursing home, can only meet 10% aging health care demand and the left 90% will have aging-in-place care with smart home based on virtual nursing and internet + social technology according to China government guiding policy.

Dr. Hugh Rashid is the founder and managing partner of a California based technology company, Xavor Corporation. Currently based in Shanghai, he is incubating a startup that is using AI & Robotics to enable China’s vision of Virtual Nursing Homes and Internet+Social to address the growing aging population challenges of China.  

He is with MBA from University of California at Irvine and Doctorate in Management from Case Western University in Cleveland, was the chair of technology & innovation committee for American Chamber. Over the last few years he has also taught MBA course on Innovation and Entrepreneurship at various Chinese universities including Peking University, Renmin University, Fudan University, Wuhan University and Chonging University. 

Hugh Rashid (胡马云）博士，美国软件科技公司 Xavor Corporation 的创始人，致力于利用大数据、云服务、人工智能、传感器等数字科技与-大健康产业相结合，打造卓越体验的老年智能陪护机器人。目前常驻上海，专注亚沃智能科技人老人陪护机器人项目孵化，利用老年科技，赋能中国智能居家养老，为中国面临的人口老龄化挑战提供解决方案。

胡马云博士拥有美国凯斯西储大学管理学博士学位、美国加州大学欧文分校（UCI）工商管理硕士学位，曾任美国商会上海分会技术与创新委员会，先后在美国南加州大学、北京大学、人民大学、复旦大学、武汉大学、重庆大学等国内外多所顶尖大学教授技术管理、商业创新、创业、设计思维、跨文化管理和国际市场营销等 MBA 课程。
