苏格兰炸蛋是英国代表性的鸡蛋料理,据说起源于1738年,英国伦敦Fortnum & Mason百货公司。有一定粘性的绞肉,包裹低温慢煮过的水煮蛋,外裹面包糠——这层面包糠外壳不单单为食物增加了酥脆又美味的外层,还有助于帮助锁住食物水份,控制一定油温油炸后制得苏格兰蛋。
Scotch Eggs is a typical dish in the United Kingdom, which is said to have originated in 1738 in Fortnum & Mason department store in London. Sticky ground meat, wrapped in low and slow-cooked boiled eggs, coated with bread bran which not only adds a crispy and delicious outer, but also helps to make the food mouthwatering, control a certain oil temperature after frying to produce Scotch eggs.
