在中国近现代,汉字字体设计依托当代社会的技术发展,产生巨大的赋能,文字设计在中华字库工程、策略与品牌、国家大型项目上扮演了重要的角色。为使计算机处理汉字、更好的呈现汉字,国内外许多科研工作者潜心钻研汉字信息的输入、存储、处理和输出过程等汉字信息处理技术,在以748工程为基础的技术推动下,我国逐渐形成了数字产业、互联网云技术等信息处理新型产业,为信息时代中华民族文化的传播与发展创造了条件。基于这样的学术环境和研究动向,中央美术学院希望邀请国内外相关领域的知名学者参加本次论坛,就“文字设计与技术创新理论”等问题展开广泛且深入的探讨、交流。
In modern China, type design for Hanzi has relied on the technological development of contemporary society to generate tremendous empowerment, and typography has played an important role in the Hanzi Repertoire project, strategies & branding, and large-scale national projects. In order to make computers process and present Hanzi better, many researchers in China and abroad have dived into Hanzi information processing technologies such as input, storage, processing and output progresses of Hanzi information. With the technological impetus based on Project 748, new information processing industries such as digital industry and Internet cloud technology, have gradually formed in China, creating conditions for the dissemination and development of Chinese national culture in the information era. Based on this academic environment and research trends, the Central Academy of Fine Arts would like to invite renowned scholars in related fields in China and abroad to participate in this forum to discuss and exchange ideas on “theories of type design and technological innovation” in a wide and in-depth manner.

Starting from an understanding of Chinese writing and Chinese calligraphy, the presentation extends to an introduction to his own daily writing projects including a calligraphy exhibition in a vegetable market and a lantern riddle exhibition in Yongqingfang, Guangzhou, discussing the energy of the art of writing in Chinese society today.

As we all know, Beijing is the only city in the world to have hosted both the Summer and Winter Olympics, so both the Summer and Winter Olympics in Beijing have written a chapter in the history of world design. 在数字化时代,尤其是元宇宙理论迅猛发展的时代,汉字字体设计堪称重要的数字基础设施。发言人通过对于手工时代、机械时代、信息时代印刷技术和字体设计呈现的演进梳理,揭示汉字作为中国文化的重要载体,字体字形发展的各个关键节点。从字形发展的视觉探寻汉字设计发展的现代之路,从活字印刷为起点,梳理常用字的标准演变,将不同时代硬件条件和字形设计的艺术性发展走向进行了分析、研究,以期夯实汉字字体设计的研究基石。
In the digital age, especially in the era of rapid development of meta-universe theory, type design for Hanzi is considered an important digital infrastructure. Through the evolution of printing technology and type design presentation in the manual, mechanical and information eras, the speaker reveals the various key points in the development of Hanzi as an important carrier of Chinese culture and typeface glyphs. The speaker explores the modern path of Hanzi design development from a visual perspective of character development, and combs the standard evolution of common usage characters from movable type printing, and analyses and studies the hardware conditions and artistic development of character design in different eras, with a view to consolidating the cornerstones of type design for Hanzi research.
