米格尔·尼科莱斯博士，医学博士、哲学博士，是杜克大学的神经科学教授，也是神经生物学、生物医学工程和心理学教授。作为巴西最知名的科学家之一，并入选过过去十年全球最具影响力的20位科学家，尼科莱斯博士一直致力于加强巴西的科学教育、技术和创新。他的研究成果在《自然》、《科学》和《科学美国人》等期刊上发表，并被《新闻周刊》、《时代》、《发现》等杂志以及国内外电视网络和媒体报道。

Miguel Nicolelis, M.D., Ph.D., is a Professor of Neuroscience at Duke University, as well as a Professor of Neurobiology, Biomedical Engineering, and Psychology. H    e is also the founder of Duke’s Center for Neuroengineering. As Brazil’s best-known scientist and one of the 20 most influential scientists in the world in the last decade, Dr. Nicolelis has been an outspoken and passionate advocate for strengthening science education, technology, and innovation in the country. His award-winning research has been published in Nature, Science, and Scientific American and has been reported in Newsweek, Time, Discover, as well as national TV networks and international media outlets.
