This event aims to provide an overview of the Sino-UK technology and investment ecosystem to China based Oxbridge alumni, whilst providing a forum for in person engagement and networking between the Oxbridge Society and British Chamber of Commerce Technology & Innovation Committee. 

Steve Baron of the UK Department of Trade & Industry will provide a macro overview of Sino-UK policy, cooperation and opportunity  in this space. 

Arthur Zhu will speak about the internationalization of Lianlian, case study of using London as a global hub, the challenges of Brexit and finally - opportunities for Chinese companies in this space.

Victor Gao of Charterhouse Capital Partners will detail the progress of the £1 Billion Sino-UK SME Fund which is anchored by CIC and HSBC. 

Carrie Wu of 8 Hours Ahead will present an overview of the Sino-UK growth stage technology and investment ecosystem. The sessions will be followed by a panel discussion, Q&A, networking and drinks. A further speaker may be announced prior to the event.
