“Faces 101+” invites viewers to reflect on and embrace the vast diversity within our global community. Through the medium of cartoon pop art, this exhibit highlights the individuality and cultural richness of each face, encouraging a deeper understanding and appreciation of the diverse human experience.

Gabrielle——the talented artist, gets her inspirations from extensive travels and experiences living and teaching across different countries. The exhibit is a personal exploration of the faces and stories that have shaped her worldview. Growing up in a large family, her early volunteer work at a special needs camp, and her career as an educator have all contributed to her unique perspective on diversity. Gabrielle’s interactions with people from various backgrounds have underscored the importance of empathy, understanding, and connection.

As an artist from California, Gabrielle has always embraced a love of art, pushing through each year to come closer to her vision of how she sees the world and its beauty through the arts. This passion is reflected in her work, which aims to capture the essence of humanity's diverse cultures and perspectives.

To further enhance the interactive experience, viewers are encouraged to engage with the artwork by adding their own perspectives. Each portrait will be accompanied by paper and writing materials, inviting visitors to imagine and share the stories behind each face. This collaborative element aims to foster a sense of community and shared humanity, as each contribution adds depth and dimension to the exhibit. So, more than an art exhibit; it is also a journey into the heart of what makes us human.
